Sometimes you just fall in love with a color. This ombre of chalcedony reminds me of those beautiful blue-green shallows off the coasts of Vieques and Curaçao, the kind that don’t seem real if you grew up going to Santa Monica beach in LA.
A little research suggested that chrysoprase is “apple green.” I’ve never seen a blue-green apple, but it’s…blue-green.
